Emerging Risks to the Global Economy In 2019
In 2019, economies all over the world will face a number of serious emerging or continuing risks. Due to the interconnectedness of the global economy, understanding these risks, as well as their economic and investment implications, is important for investors in all asset classes and in all geographies. Some of these risks will include Brexit, trade tensions, and elections at both emerging and developed markets. During the event, Katherine Weber, Head of Americas Country Risk Analysis at Fitch Solutions (until recently known as BMI Research), will use her firm's proprietary Economic and Political Risk indices to help quantify some of the risks emerging or continuing next year.
