Senior Managing Director, Partner and Head of Investment Strategy, Wellington Management
Erin is the head of Investment Strategy, an investment team with capabilities in factor allocation, alternative risk premia, thematic investing, strategic asset allocation, and manager research. The overarching mission of the group is to work closely with clients to fully understand their investment challenges and advise on solutions that leverage the full breadth of the firm's investment capabilities. In this role, Erin is focused on attracting, retaining, and motivating exceptional investment talent; providing oversight for the portfolios managed on behalf of clients; and driving innovation to meet future client needs. She chairs the firm's Operating Committee, and is a member of the Multi-Strategy Review Group, Investment Platform Governance Committee, and Wellington Management Foundation Advisory Board.
Prior to this role, Erin led the firm's Equity Product Management Group. She previously served in several different capacities, including associate director of Global Equity Portfolio Management, where she managed and oversaw a number of equity teams; as a consultant relations manager working directly with investment consultants; and as business manager for the firm's business development team. Before joining Wellington Management in 2001, she worked as director of Risk Management at Enermetrix and in a variety of roles at Enron North America.
Erin received her MBA from Stanford University (1998) and her BS in economics and civil engineering systems from the University of Pennsylvania (1994). Additionally, she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
