Earnings Investors Trust: Enduring Times of Uncertainty

Investor trust is an essential element in properly functioning capital markets. Trust helps facilitate financial transactions of all sizes and enables firms to achieve an advantageous cost of capital. Earlier this year, CFA Institute released its fourth installment in a series of studies on investor trust that first began in 2013. This year’s study, based on a survey conducted by Greenwich Associates, highlights three key themes that contribute to investors’ trust in the financial industry today: information, innovation, and influence.

With the recent pandemic-driven volatility as well as the rapidly evolving investment landscape, how do investment professionals continue to build trust with their clients? CFA Society Boston is pleased to host an upcoming panel on this research that will feature the following special guests:
  • Rebecca Fender, CFA, Senior Director for the Future of Finance initiative at CFA Institute and co-author of this year’s investors trust study
  • Carol Geremia, President and Head of Global Distribution at MFS Investments
  • Patrizio Urciuoli, IOA, CFA, Executive Managing Director and Co-Head of Strategy and Asset Allocation at Liberty Mutual Investments
  • Daniel Fasciano, CFA, CAIA, National Director of Portfolio Management at BNY Mellon Wealth Management

Registration is open to members and non-members.
