Emerging Trends in Elite Wealth Management
Insight from Barron's latest Top Advisor Report

In assessing more than 3,000 elite wealth managers for their annual "Top 100" Advisor Rankings, Barron's has identified several critical and emerging trends among the advisors who are having the most success in growing their businesses in a volatile and evolving market.

Join Sterling Shea, Associate Publisher & Head of Advisory and Wealth Management Programs at Barron's, for a discussion of the upcoming 2020 Top Advisors Rankings Report. He will examine the trends and their implications for advisors and wealth management firms, and also the vendors and investment managers who service the industry. He will also share some of the top actionable ideas from the advisors themselves on how to successfully manage clients, investments and advisory businesses in this challenging and rapidly evolving environment.

Sterling Shea is the Global Head of Wealth and Asset Management at Dow Jones as well as Associate Publisher of Barron's and Head of Advisory and Wealth Management Programs. He has led Barron's advisor initiatives since the publication began ranking America's top financial advisors over 10 years ago. Among his responsibilities, Mr. Shea oversees Barron's advisor-related activities including content, conferences, and programs geared toward elite practitioners spanning the independent, consultant, and national full-service channels. He initiated Barron's entry into the advisory field in 2004. Mr. Shea has been with Barron's since 1997 in various management capacities. He is a graduate of Boston College and a graduate of the PLD business program at Harvard Business School. He also sits on the board of Invest in Others, an organization that recognizes and honors advisors who give back in their community.
