CFA Society Boston strives to give local candidates access to tools that will help them succeed. We have teamed up with Kaplan Schweser, a leader in the candidate preparation space, to deliver live instruction as well as supplemental materials, to our local candidates. Join us for a free informational session and workshop to help you navigate the product landscape.
This session will include:
- Sample lecture on equity analysis and evaluation
- Effective study tips and study plans
- Opportunity to ask a CFA Charterholder and course instructor questions
The purpose of this workshop is to demonstrate the teaching style and approach of the program. It is recommended that attendees familiarize themselves with the Equity Analysis material.
About the Instructor:
Patrick Gregory, CFA is the Managing Director of the Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments and Finance, the Director of the Babson College Fund, and a Senior Lecturer in the Finance Division at Babson College. Before joining the faculty at Babson, Patrick was an institutional portfolio manager at FM Global from 2007-2015, where he managed the Healthcare, Internet, and Telecom sectors of a $6 billion equity portfolio. He was also responsible for the evaluation, selection, and ongoing evaluation of third-party investment managers. As a result, Patrick is a member of the Board of Trustees' Investment Committee, which is responsible for the College's endowment.
Patrick is a CFA Charterholder and the Lead Instructor for Kaplan Schweser's CFA exam prep program in Boston, which are offered in partnership with CFA Society Boston. Patrick has taught Level I, II, and III courses in Boston since 2010. He's also taught in-house programs and three-day seminars at firm's such as Fidelity Investments, Wellington Management, and T.Rowe Price. The topics he teaches range from equity investments to derivatives and portfolio management.
