Hear how Naeemah Elias networked her way from poverty to Harvard; from executive assistant to executive; from employee to founder. During this interactive session, you will share experiences, practice engaging, and transform your networking into relationship management. Q&A will be infused throughout the event.

Speaker 
Naeemah Elias
Naeemah is a thought leader and global strategist with a proven background steering enterprise-wide transformation and operational excellence with a human-focused perspective. Her success developing a high-performance workforce spanning multiple geographies and retaining diverse talent despite role elimination has significantly contributed to organizational and employee success. 

Early in her career, Naeemah established skills in building top talent teams, measuring and cultivating performance, and
implementing critical process improvements. Her achievements launched her into senior, high-visibility roles leading initiatives
that spanned the globe creating radical change that advanced organizational objectives. She continued to progress into positions with greater reach and influence and established herself as an expert in developing executive-level skills for leaders delivering exponential value for internal bench strength. 

Her creative approach and commitment to overcoming racism and inequity in the workplace has resulted in measurable
improvements reducing bias, increasing promotions and lateral moves for diverse candidates, and retaining Black and LatinX
employees at a higher rates than normal during headcount reductions. Her proven strategies were also employed to align and
engage a workforce during a period of significant uncertainty throughout acquisition activities. At State Street, she designed
and piloted multiple training and mobility programs that were adopted enterprise wide.

Naeemah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Developmental Psychology from Harvard University. In Elias Presence Ventures,
she provides training and advisory in public speaking/ communication; consulting in program design/ diversity; and career
advisory. In previous roles, she mentored colleagues, Professional Development and Leadership Development rotational
employees, college and Private Industry Council (Boston high school intern program) interns, and UNCF Lighted Pathways
students.
